David is currently serving as the Security Director for Allergan Aesthetics
(AA) , an AbbVie company, based at the AA Global Headquarters in
Irvine, CA.
Originally from Israel, David received specialized training as a Special
Agent and Chief Security Officer in the Israeli Security Agency. With a
distinguished career spanning over two decades, David has excelled in
integral roles in governmental and diplomatic security, as well as private
security for multinational corporations.
David is a highly respected professional in the security industry, broad
expertise in key critical areas. His experience includes Crisis
Management, Business Continuity, Risk Assessments, Executive
Protection, Event Security, Situational Awareness, Business Travelers,
and Loss Prevention.
Fluent in English, French, and Hebrew, David is a skilled communicator
who embraces cultural diversity. His extensive international experience and cultural understanding enable
him to adapt seamlessly to different environments and effectively collaborate with individuals from diverse
backgrounds.
Previously, David served as the Regional Security Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) at AbbVie
Paris, France headquarters. In this role, he successfully led security operations across the region, leveraging
his international experience and background to navigate diverse cultural landscapes and regulatory
frameworks.
David's outstanding contributions and leadership in crisis management were particularly evident in his
exceptional preparation of the region to manage a crisis. He also demonstrated exemplary leadership during
the unexpected and unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, earning him the prestigious AbbVie President's Award.
His proactive measures and strategic planning were instrumental in safeguarding the well-being of
employees, ensuring business continuity, and effectively mitigating risks during challenging times.
David holds a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification awarded by the American Society for
Industrial Security (ASIS) the world's largest association for security professionals and considered the "Gold
Standard" for security management professionals. This certification officially validates his ability to assume
leadership responsibilities and effectively manage broad security concerns.
He also holds a Master's degree in “LETTRES ET LANGUES”, specializing in CIVILISATIONS COMMUNICATION,
HISTOIRE from Université Paris 8, Vincennes Saint Denis.
Throughout his distinguished career, David has consistently demonstrated his ability to develop and
